Hidcote Manor Gardens is just 2 Miles from Folly Farm Cottage.

 

The twisting lanes of the Cotswold countryside lead visitors to one of the most inventive and influential gardens of the twentieth century. A stunning series of smaller gardens make this an ideal visit at any time of the year.

Upton House is about 30 min's from Folly Farm Cottage.

This oil millionaire's country house has an important collection of paintings and porcelain. The property currently has on display an exhibition of historic Shell advertising posters and some of the original paintings from which they were taken, by artists such as Paul Nash and Graham Sutherland.

A terraced garden is spectacular in all seasons and full of colourful herbaceous borders and a highly productive kitchen garden that produces produce for the tea room.

Charlecote Park is a 20 Minute drive from Folly Farm Cottage.

Visitors to Charlecote will find there is now even more to see with the recently opened suite of rooms in the north wing. The forecourt garden has undergone a facelift with a geometrically styled garden designed by Sir Edmund Fairfax-Lucy. 

After a stroll in the grounds of this wonderful property, call into the Orangery Restaurant and be tempted by the award winning scones on sale.

Snowshill Manor is a 30 min drive from Folly Farm Cottage.
You can eat at the Manor restaurant or drive to Snowshill and eat at the pub the Snowshill Arms.

Snowshill Manor contains the lifetime collection of one eccentric Englishman, Charles Paget Wade. His passion for design, craftsmanship and colour provides a surprise around every corner for visitors young and old.

Snowshill is no ordinary Cotswold manor house but the           
setting for Charles Wade's unique collection of 
craftsmanship. This includes English, European and Oriental furniture, musical instruments, craft tools, toys, clocks and bicycles. 

The Green Room contains a large number of suits of Japanese Samurai armour arranged to give the impression of a company of warriors meeting in the gloom. Visitors can also see Wade's inventively equipped cottage and the delightful organic cottage garden.
