Ilmington is a delightful village nestling at the foot
of the Campden hills, surrounded by green fields and classed as part of the
Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty. It is totally unspoilt with old
stone cottages and a village green, the village shop and the old church where
bells still ring out over the orchard as they have done for many years.
Why not take a
day off from driving and enjoy walking along the many country footpaths or quiet
country lanes around
the village or hire a cycle, (can be arranged locally). Magnificent views across pure English countryside can be seen from
the top of Campden Hill which is the highest point in Warwickshire.
After exploring our village why not stop for a
pint of the local Ale at our village Inn. Step back in time in this old world atmosphere, relax and
watch the world go by, or stroll back and take tea in our cottage garden.
The village has two traditional country pubs, where log fires burn in winter and good quality bar or restaurant food is served in a friendly atmosphere, both are just a short walk from us.
