Explore our idyllic little village of Ilmington situated in an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty with its award winning country pub.
It is a conservation village with large country houses mingling
with mellow, golden coloured Cotswold stone cottages and
English country gardens.
Ilmington is frequently a finalist in the
best kept village competition and has a corner village shop and two pubs offering excellent food and local beers. There is a
Norman church with wood carvings by Robert 'mouse' Thompson (campanologists are warmly welcomed to ring
on Tuesday practise nights).
Set in a valley at the foot of the
Campden Hills we are four miles from Chipping Campden and only seven miles from the picturesque old town of Stratford-upon-
Avon where you can indulge in some retail therapy and take an
open top bus tour to explore the original houses and countryside from
Shakespeare’s time.
There are also stunning walks in and around Ilmington village and we are surrounded by beautiful, quaint Cotswold villages and many National Trust properties, antique trails and castles all a short drive away.
We have just introduced a brand new feature, 360° tours of each of our rooms allowing guests to see the whole room prior to selecting which one to stay in. Click on the rooms below to see the tour.......
